FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Last Blood, Marry Me, and +EV will now be Keenspot-branded sites and participate in cross-promotion with other comics in the line-up. Print editions of all three titles will continue to be published by the Blatant Comics label.

“Bobby’s comics now attract a readership of over 20,000 people daily, and we’re thrilled to have them all in the Keenspot line-up,” said Chris Crosby, Keenspot CEO and older brother of Bobby. “I’ve been working with him in a production capacity since he started, and with the buy-out of the company it only made sense to fold them into Keenspot.”

In the horror-themed adventure Last Blood (lastblood.net), vampires must protect the last surviving humans so they can live off their blood after zombies take over the Earth. Written by Bobby and ilustrated by Owen Gieni (Sore Thumbs, WICKEDPOWERED) from a concept co-created by brother Chris, Last Blood has four comic book issues in print and a collected edition scheduled to ship in April from Blatant Comics. It debuted online in December 2006.

Marry Me (marrymemovie.com) is a romantic comedy about a pop star frustrated with her love life who marries a random fan holding a “MARRY ME” sign at one of her concerts. Written by Bobby and illustrated by Remy “Eisu” Mokhtar (No Pink Ponies), a collected edition is scheduled to ship this spring from Blatant. It debuted online in February 2007.

Poker is a way of life in +EV (plusev.net), a niche humor comic about an online poker pro named Corbin and his strange family and stranger friends. Written by Bobby and illustrated by Tiger Claw, +EV debuted online in August 2006 and a collected edition is scheduled for publication by Blatant this summer.

KEENSPOT MOVES TO “TEMPLAR, ARIZONA”
Spike’s Acclaimed Webcomic Joins Keenspot Network

Cresbard, SD, March 28, 2008 - Keenspot is honored to announce that Templar, Arizona has joined the Keenspot line-up. The award-winning webcomic by Spike has been a runaway critical hit since it debuted online in May 2005.

“My years of fiendish machinations have finally borne fruit!” said Spike, who describes Templar as “a story about a town that doesn’t exist, and the people who live there.”

“It’s awesome to have Templar on Keenspot,” said Keenspot CEO Chris Crosby. “It’s a captivating story full of original characters and ideas, and the subtle alternate universe elements are icing on the cake.”

The comic follows Ben Kowalski, a recent transplant from Yakima, Washington, a writer for a local alternative paper, and a dedicated hermit. His only friendships in Templar have been forced upon him; the acquaintance of a kindergartener named Zoradysis, and the determined attentions of his overbearing and flamboyantly obscene neighbor, Reagan. He needs to get out more, and he’s gonna, whether he likes it or not.

Templar, Arizona can be found at templaraz.com.
